Instructions for use

Charging the speaker
The speaker comes with a built in rechargeable battery. Before using it for the first time we recommend you charge the battery fully.

Connect the USB cable to a computer USB port and the USB plug to the charging port of the speaker. The red LED illuminates while the speaker is being charged. It takes 2-4 hours for the unit to fully charge. When the battery is fully charged the red LED will turn off.

Pairing the speaker with Bluetooth devices (phone or music device)
Your bluetooth speaker can stream wireless audio from any bluetooth enabled device within the range of 27-33 feet. Simply follow the below steps.
  1. To Turn “ON”, slide the “ON/OFF” switch to the ON Position.
  2. To Turn “OFF”, slide the “ON/OFF” switch to the OFF Position.
Switch the speaker to bluetooth paring mode
  1. Turn on the speaker. 
  2. You would hear sound message 'the bluetooth device is ready to pair', and the color changing LED lights will begin to flash. This indicates that the speaker is now in bluetooth pairing mode.
  3. Turn on the bluetooth on your mobile phone of tablet or computer.
  4. It will search for available bluetooth devices.
  5. Bluetooth speaker would appear as 'PartyFunLights', in the list of searched devices. Select it from the available list of devices.
  6. If required, enter the password '0000' to confirm pairing.
  7. Once paired successfully, you would hear sound message 'the bluetooth device is connected successfully'.
  8. If you fail to pair it within a few seconds or you want to pair it with a new device, please repeat above steps.
Play your favorite song on the bluetooth source device and music would now stream through the speaker.

Paring your device with bluetooth speaker
Your Bluetooth Speaker can wirelessly stream audio from any Bluetooth enabled device within 27-33 Feet. Simply follow the below steps.
  1. Turn ON the speaker. 
  2. You will hear the audible tone and the LED light will illuminate. The speaker is now in pairing mode. 
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth on your Mobile Phone or Tablet or Computer. 
  4. It will search for various devices. 
  5. The pairing name of the Bluetooth Speaker is “PartyFunLights”, pair it with this device. 
  6. If required, enter the password ‘0000’ to confirm to finalise pairing. 
  7. Once paired successfully, you should hear an indication tone. 
  8. If you fail to pair it within the time frame or you want to pair it with a new device please follow the steps outlined above again. 
Select your favorite song on the Bluetooth device. Music will now stream through bluetooth speaker. 

(Note: Speaker will automatically pair with previously paired devices.) 

Listening to music wirelessly
Please ensure that your device (iPhone, Tablet, or other smartphone) is paired with the speaker to stream wireless music. Once it is paired, play music from your device.
  • Increase volume - Long press on the ⏭ button to increase the volume.
  • Decrease volume - Long press on the ⏮ button to decrease the volume.
  • Pause - Short press ▶️/ ⏸ once to pause the music. 
  • Play - Short press ▶️/⏸ once resume playback .
  • Previous Track - Short press the ⏮ button to the previous track.
  • Next Track - Short press the ⏭ button to the next track.
  • (Note: A tone indication will alert you when the volume has reached maximum level.)

Answering a call with the speaker - Basic operation
  • Answer incoming call - Short press the phone button to answer an incoming call
  • End call - After your phone conversation, short press the phone button
  • Increase volume - Long press the ⏭ button will increase the volume
  • Decrease volume - Long press the ⏮ button will decrease the volume
  • Redial last number - Short press the phone button twice

Please Note
  • Not all mobile phones suport all the functions listed above. Please refer to your cell phone's user's manual for further information.
  • Certain functions and indication tones maybe vary depending on your mobile phone. 
Listening to music using USB/Micro SD (TF) Card slot
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Insert USB flash drive into the USB slot or Micro SD (TF) card into the Micro SD (TF) slot. You will hear sound message 'music'. Music will then stream automatically.
  3. Short press the ⏭ or ⏮ button to move forward or backward on your playlist.
  4. Short press ▶️/ ⏸ button to play or pause a track
Note: While using bluetooth, if you insert USB Flash drive or Micro SD (TF) card, speaker would disconnect the bluetooth connection and switch to USB/Micro SD (TF) card function. You can press MODE button, to select the bluetooth mode again.

Listening to music using AUX-In
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Insert the 3.5 mm Aux-in cable (not included) into the AUX-IN port of the speaker for AUX function. And, the other end of the cable to the audio device (such as computer/tablet/MP3 player etc.)
  3. Press the MODE button each time until it reaches Aux mode with sound message 'Line-In'.
  4. Select your favorite song at the source device to play.
Note: While using AUX IN function, functions such as play/pause, playing next/previous track can be controlled only through your source device.

Listening FM Radio
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Press the MODE button each time until it reaches FM radio with sound message 'FM tuner'.
  3. Short press the ▶️/⏸ button one time for searching and recording all radio stations within frequency range 87.5-108 MHz.
  4. Press the Skip Forward/Skip Backward button for listening next or previous preset radio station.
Tips!!
  1. Short press the MODE button to switch different functions of the speaker. The functions are: bluerooth/USB-Micro SD (TF)/FM radio and AUX.
  2. When the speaker is not in use, turn OFF the device to save the battery power.
Color changing LED lights in the front of speaker
  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Long press the LED on/off button each time can turn to other LED light pattern or on/off the color changing LED lights.
Do's and Don'ts
  1. Do not play music at excessive levels as damage to hearing and/or equipment may result. 
  2. Do not use in wet or in damp surroundings.

Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Never use chemicals or hard abrasives.

Troubleshooting guide 
  • No sound - Volume in minimum position - Press ⏭ button to increase the volume
  • No sound - The connected device is not in play mode - Play the music in the connected device and make sure volume is in high level
  • No sound - Input source incorrect - Press the MODE button to set the input source to the desired function
  • Sound distortion - Volume level too high - Press ⏮ button to decrease the volume.
