User Manual - USB Multi-Color LED Strip

Getting started

Please read these safety precautions carefully before using this product. Keep them for future reference and for new users who are not familiar with the product.


Warnings 

  • Supply voltage of this product is DC 5V 2A MAX - USB port
  • Never connect to DC 24V or AC 220V.
  • Never connect the front and back port in case of a short circuit.
  • Lead wire should connected correctly, according to colors on the wire.
  • This product must only be used as intended in accordance with these instructions.
  • Before first use, remove all packaging and inspect the device for damage.
  • CAUTION: Install batteries in the correct position as shown in this manual. Installation by adult recommended.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
  • This product has not been designed for use by children.
  • Adult supervision is always required when children are near any electrical appliance.
  • This product has been designed for indoor use only.
  • Keep the product and the cables away from water and other liquids. If the product does fall in water, immediately disconnect the power supply. Do not attempt to touch or pull the product out of the water when it is connected to a device that is connected to the main power supply.
  • Never touch the product or the cables with wet hands.
  • Make sure the product is not connected to a power supply when not in use.
  • Do not replace the connector cables by yourself.
  • This product flashes that may trigger photosensitive epilepsy to sensitise individuals. Take care when using.
  • The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
  • The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
  • The product shall be supplied by a external independent LED driver with at least 5V, 2A SELV output.


How to use

  1. Clean the surface you intend to stick the light strip to.
  2. Peel off the backing strip of the adhesive tape.
  3. Press and hold the light strip firmly against the surface.
  4. Connect the end of the light strip with the LED / USB connector. Make sure the arrows line up for it to function.
  5. Connect the USB cable to the USB port or USB wall connection.
  6. Remove the tab from the battery compartment of the remote control.
  7. Turn on the LED strip light by pushing the ON button on the remote control, pointing it towards the lights.
  8. You are now able to use the lights and select your desired light function.
  9. Once you have finished using the lights, press the power button to turn OFF, unplug the cables and store in a safe place.

Shortening the strip  

You can cut the light strip to shorten the length. Make sure you cut in the join section and cut away from the ends. WARNING: Attention risk of electric shock! Always unplug the power cord before shortening the LED strip.


Remote control

  1. On/Off switch
  2. White light
  3. Flash
  4. Strobe
  5. Fade

  7. Control panel for colour selection
  8. Red, Green, Blue colour
  9. Increase/ decrease the brightness, fast or slow rate in light modes mode


The colour settings are mixed colours. For this reason colours may vary slightly.

Changing the remote control battery

  1. Using a small screw driver remove the screw on the back of the remote control.
  2. The battery compartment is located below the screw. Push and pull the battery compartment simultaneously as shown to remove the battery.
  3. Once you have removed the spent battery replace with a 3V battery, type CR2025. The positive terminal must point upwards.
  4. Once the new battery has been replaced and the compartment has been pushed back inside the remote control, tighten the screw.


WARNING: Button cell batteries can cause serious injury or death if swallowed. Dispose safely! Store batteries out of reach of children.


  • Swallowing may lead to serious injury or death in as little as 2 hours due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.
  • If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button cell battery, contact your countries emergency department.
  • Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. do not use if compartment is not secure.
  • Dispose of used batteries immediately and safely. flat batteries can still be dangerous.
  • Keep batteries out of reach of children.
  • Batteries must be changed by an adult.
